Understanding Christianity is uniquely written for teens/young adults: curious, favoring interaction with peers, willing to learn, loaded with questions on life and a 'what's in it for me and why is it important' attitude; they may be moody, alienated and lacking self-esteem. 17 well-crafted and superbly organized lessons lead the reader, leader or small group participant toward a rich understanding of Christianity.
Rather than watering-down ideas, we are brought face to face with 'hard but rewarding topics: "Deep Water" discussions'. Whatever our stage in life...teens, parents, seekers, students, teachers...Understanding Christianity confronts us all in an honest, straight-forward way; a practical book and valuable tool to have within one's reach!

Like a chat with the bible

Understanding Christianity is a great book for younger and older Christians alike. It poses those most basic of questions and answers them in a straightforward manner using biblical verses to support the answers. I like that is explains the Christian concepts such as “justification”, while breaking down such Christian jargon into its essence. A good read for any Christian at any stage of their walk.
